On April 23, 2025, A monitoring team of the North East Gonja District Assembly led by the District Coordinating Director & the District Works Engineer conducted a field visit to assess ongoing and completed infrastructure projects under the SOCO Project and the Social Investment Fund (SIF) in the North East Gonja District. The team inspected various project sites to evaluate progress, quality of work, and alignment with project objectives.
Social Investment Fund (SIF) Projects Visited:
1.Lantikpa:
•Construction of nurses’ quarters with a mechanised borehole.
2.Takpli:
•Construction of a 1No. rural clinic with a mechanised borehole.
3.Kpalbe-Jinlo Feeder Road:
•Construction of 2/1200mm pipe culverts.
4.Kpalbe:
•Construction of 2 No. six-unit classroom blocks with 8-seater KVIPs.
SOCO Projects Visited:
1.Gidanturu:
•Construction of 2 No. 3-unit nurses’ accommodation blocks.
2.Fuu:
•Construction of 4 No. speed tables.
3.Kpalbe:
•Construction of 1 No. 20-unit workers’ villa for teachers and nurses.
