On April 29, 2025, The North East Gonja District Assembly held its first management meeting with the newly confirmed District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon. Abdul Mumin Ewuntomah. The meeting brought together all Heads of Departments and Units, alongside the Coordinating Director, Mr. Issah Imoro, in a bid to strengthen collaboration and chart a united path toward the district’s development.
The session, held at the DCE’s office, offered an opportunity for Hon. Ewuntomah to officially engage with the district’s administrative and technical leadership. Each head of department and unit presented a brief report detailing the operations, achievements, and current challenges within their respective sectors.

Mr. Issah Imoro, the Coordinating Director, welcomed participants and underscored the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and collective effort in achieving the district’s development goals.
In his address, Hon. Abdul Mumin Ewuntomah expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive leadership, transparency, and sustainable development. He stressed the need for synergy among departments and called for innovative approaches to addressing the district’s pressing needs.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose among participants. Discussions highlighted key priority areas such as health, education, infrastructure, agriculture, and security. The DCE assured his unwavering support and pledged to work closely with all departments to ensure the efficient delivery of public services and to advance the district’s development agenda.
