The District Planning Coordinating Unit (DPCU) successfully held its First Quarter Meeting on 20th April 2026, bringing together Heads of Departments and Unit Heads to review the implementation of planned activities for the first quarter of the year.
During the meeting, each Head of Department and Unit presented a report on activities undertaken, achievements recorded, challenges encountered, and progress made within their respective sectors. These presentations provided members with a comprehensive overview of the district's performance and the extent of implementation of planned programmes and projects.
The meeting also served as a platform for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration among departments. Members discussed key issues affecting implementation and made recommendations aimed at improving service delivery, strengthening interdepartmental coordination, and ensuring the successful execution of planned activities in the subsequent quarters.
