The facilitators were Alhaji Abdullah Andani-Savannah Regional Statistician, Mr. Alhassan Baba Musah-Senior Development Planning Officer and Mr. Martin Torbizo-Regional Statistics Officer, GES.

In their presentations they focused on the role of data collection in preparing Medium Term Development Plan that will reflect in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Mr. Alhassan Baba Musah said data collection guides policies and legislative documents in order to coordinate programmes for economic and social development.

The Regional Statistician, Alhaji Abdullah Andani encouraged the participants to apply the knowledge gained in the training process in their administrative work because lack of data delays in data submission which ultimately affects its usefulness to the nation.
